
INGREDIENTS
| 1 cup | MAYA All-Purpose Flour |
| ¼ cup | sugar |
| ½ teaspoon | salt |
| 1 ½ teaspoons | baking powder |
| ½ teaspoon | cinnamon powder |
| ½ cup | beer |
| 1 piece | egg |
| 1 cup | chopped apples |
| ¼ cup | raisins |
| oil for deep frying | |
| apricot jam |
PROCEDURE
- Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Stir in beer and egg until just combined.
- Fold in apple until well mixed.
- Get a heaping teaspoon of the mixture and drop into the hot oil.
- Cook until golden brown or when the dough starts to float.
- Drain in paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Cool.
- Serve fritters with apricot jam on shooter glasses.
