Class Coverage: Learn proper mise-en-place and ingredient identification, understand the concept of stocks and 5 mother sauces and their applications, and hands-on preparations of dishes from soups to desserts based on the different methods of cooking. Learn the actual usage of herbs and spices combinations, the importance of proper purchasing and storing of ingredients, the basic boning of poultry and filleting of fish, and basic knife skills, and also you will learn the proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety in food handling as well.
