The Gourmet in a Bottle Class will teach you how to bottle different gourmet dishes such as the much loved bottled gourmet tuyo, chili oil, and bottled liver pate. Chef Dan will teach you the tips and tricks of bottling and how to do it safely.  With the perfect mix of herbs, aromatics, olive oil, and spices, you too can bottle your own gourmet products.

for Bottled Tuyo:

  • salt
  • water
  • tuyo
  • garlic
  • whole shallots
  • olive oil or corn oil
  • whole pickles
  • carrot
  • salt and black pepper

for Liver Pate:

  • fresh chicken livers
  • milk
  • unsalted butter
  • bacon
  • onions
  • garlic
  • black or white peppercorns
  • bay leaves
  • thyme leaves
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • red wine/brandy

Our Chef Instructors

Chef Charina Cano and Chef Dan Wilford B. Libunao are both Maya
Kitchen in-house Culinary Instructors.

Chef Charina “Cha” is the Maya Kitchen Supervisor, and she’s been with
Maya Kitchen for almost 14 years now in which she handles various
Culinary classes, specifically the Maya Kitchen’s Cooking Class and
Culinary Certificate Classes.

Chef Dan on the other hand also teaches Culinary Certificate Classes and
also assist and teach some Baking and cooking class.
