Adobong Pusit

  • 500 grams pusit
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon peppercorns
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 pieces tomato (sliced)
  • Sugar to taste
  1. Wash and clean pusit very well. Boil pusit in water, vinegar, pepper, salt and garlic. Cover and cook until tender. Drain and separate garlic. Reserve the sauce.
  2. In a separate pan, sauté garlic in hot oil until brown. Add onions and tomatoes then cook until tender.
  3. Add pusit and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add reserve sauce and little sugar to taste. Simmer until sauce is reduced.

Prep Time: 5 to 10 mins

Cooking Time: 15 to 20 minutes
