
Crusted Baked Salmon

Seasoned crumbs:
- ½ cup fresh bread crumbs
- 2-3 tablespoons freshly grated cheddar cheese
- chopped dill (as needed)
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Salmon marinade:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon crushed peppercorns
- juice of half lemon
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 250 grams salmon
- For seasoned crumbs: Place bread crumbs in a bowl, press together the crumbs and cheese using your hand until cheese are not visible.
- Add dill and pepper into the crumbs and cheese mixture then set aside for crust use.
- For Salmon: Rub and season salmon with salt, crushed peppercorns, lemon juice and mustard.
- Cover the top of the salmon with prepared crumbs.
- Place on a tray and bake in a preheated oven (350⁰F – 177⁰C) for 10 to 15 minutes or until the crust turns to brown. Remove baked salmon from the oven and serve.
