Romulo Cafe has established itself as a fine Filipino restaurant serving up traditional local cuisine with a modern flair and with portions perfect for sharing.
Named after journalist, diplomat, and the first Asian to serve as president of the UN General Assembly, Carlos P. Romulo, Romulo Cafe was envisioned as a restaurant that would share aspects of his multifaceted life through photographs, while being served with signature fare that Lola Virginia (Pres. Romulo’s wife) showcased, and once served to visiting diplomats and dignitaries.
Every one of the dishes at Romulo Cafe has been made with love, and heaps of nostalgia. Managed by ancestors of Pres. Romulo, their goal is simple — to honor their grandparents, and to serve delicious food people really eat: the food we call comfort food.
On Saturday, July 26, from 9:00 to 1:00PM, you will be able to witness how the most popular dishes of Cafe Romulo’s, are brought to life, here at The Maya Kitchen. Fee is P1500.
